TEST SHOOTS AT FLASH

We are excited to help creative professionals improve and expand their craft. In order to offer this opportunity at an affordable rate to the community, test shoots are treated differently then our standard bookings, please see the details below.

Rates
Test days are $600/day and equipment will be available at a 50% discount. However, test days will be based on an 8-hour day from 9AM to 5PM. No Overtime allowed.
Availability
To keep the studio available for regular bookings, test days can only be booked up to two weeks in advance on dates without existing holds or confirmed bookings.
Insurance
Our standard insurance requirements for liability and rented equipment coverage still apply. Please see our coverage requirements and sample COI here.
Unpaid jobs only
Test days are designed to help you build your portfolio and experience, not a way to get a discount on the studio for work you're getting paid for. Please don't abuse them.
CYC WALL
To save costs, the cyc will be left in whatever state it is in prior to your test. You can shoot on it, but if you need it freshly painted white, there will be an additional fee of $300.
BTS/Marketing
In exchange for the discounted rates you must also agree to allow us to film and photograph your test shoot for use in our marketing materials for Flash Studio.
BONUS TEST DAY
If you or your client book a consecutive multi-day shoot at Flash Studio, we'll give you a free test day on the house. You'll also get the same 50% equipment discount.
